To enter the Park Aconcagua it’s necessary to obtain a MANDATORY EVACUATION AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE POLICY
The Government of Mendoza has established the MANDATORY presentation of the Insurance policy for medical attention and rescue due to accidents to enter the Aconcagua Provincial Park.
You will need to purchase an Extreme Sports Insurance, which covers the costs of a possible search and rescue operation, evacuation (helicopter, riding mule or other) , medical assistance and all the expenses that result from the rescue such as hospitalization, surgeries (if necessary), medicines, accommodation, etc.”
